The coach of Romania praises Belarus, but believes in a positive result

Despite the tricolors winning the round-robin match 2-1, coach Edi Iordenescu praised Thursday’s opposition, who he believes have improved their game recently.

However, he turned to the players of Romania, in whom he expressed his full confidence.

“We have problems with some guys who are not there, we are waiting for them to recover and be with us again. I have built a core of players that I consider valuable, that I fully trust and that have proven that they can take the necessary steps to get to Romania.

We have most attacking players. It’s important to be inspired, to make the right choices so that those who enter give it their all, and those who enter along the way leave their mark on the game, as they have done on many occasions.

We are on guard, there are moments that have caught our attention. This is an unpredictable team that looked very good both in the double with Israel and in the game with Kosovo, but also in Bucharest at certain moments. I see an improvement in the expression of the team from the tour match.

It will be all the more difficult, a team that has created a lot of problems, and of course if we don’t come out on the field properly, we will also have a lot of problems.

How we enter the game is important. I really want to emphasize that if I have never called you to write something, then this time I am doing it, for the first time and probably for the last time. I want it to reach our guys because I know they’re reading what’s coming out in the public space, that nobody in this world trusts this group more than I do.

All I care about is that they come out on the field extremely capable. Despite the short time, they only had one training session, I applied my game to the maximum, now this is an official training session, I trust them completely.

If we go 100% and show the best version, put all the resources to use, we can make a good game with a very important result.” – said Edi IordanescuDigiSport reports.
