Thus, the number of victims of the Hamas attack on several fronts increased to 900 people.

Before the attack, Kibbutz Beeri was home to approximately 1,000 people.

According to a new toll released Monday morning by the army, the previous toll announced more than 800 Israeli deaths in more than 48 hours, with another 2,150 injured.

On the Palestinian side, according to local authorities, 493 people died, News.ro cites.

The Israeli army declared a state of war after Saturday’s massive attacks on Israel from the Palestinian Gaza Strip, calling up about 300,000 reservists.

“We have never mobilized so many reservists at the same time. We will go on the offensive,” Israel Defense Forces spokesman General Daniel Hagari said on Monday.

He said Monday afternoon that the army had regained control of all communities near the border with Gaza, but isolated clashes with armed Palestinians continued.

“We have complete control over the communities,” General Hagari said in a televised address. However, he said “there may still be terrorists in the area”.
