A bus with more than 80 passengers overturned on Monday evening in the Häršov district of Konstanz, and the authorities activated the Red Intervention Plan. According to the first information, five people were stuck in the car. According to News.ro, intervention crews have been reinforced, including some from the counties of Jalomica and Kalaras.

Representatives of the police inspectorate of Constanta district reported that the accident was most likely caused by a tire explosion, five people were injured and will be taken to the hospital.

“On October 9, around 21:00, employees of the Highway Service received a message that an accident had occurred on DN 2A near the city of Harshov. According to preliminary information, the accident occurred due to the explosion of a bus tire in which there were about 80 people. The driver lost control and the bus overturned. The driver was tested with a breathalyzer and drug tests, the results were negative. According to available information, five people were injured and were taken to the hospital,” the police said.

An on-site investigation is ongoing.

Representatives of ISU Dobrogea said that three special fire engines, four SMURD ambulances, two special rescue vehicles and two special multi-casualty transport vehicles from ISU Constanţa went to the scene of the accident. At the same time, six ambulances of the district ambulance service intervened.

In addition, two SMURD B crews and a casualty transport vehicle from ISU Ilomiţa, two SMURD B crews, a casualty transport vehicle from ISU Călăraşi and an ambulance also from Călăraşi are moving to support the crews in Constanta.
