Romania’s national rugby union team will play Tonga on Sunday in what will be the Oaks’ last match at the World Cup hosted by France.

  • The match will take place at 18:45 at the Pierre-Maurois stadium (Lille) and will be broadcast by Orange Sport 3 and Digi Sport 3.

To know before the match Romania – Tonga

  • Compared to the match against Scotland, there will be 9 changes in the first XV of the Tricolors: Kohokaru and Gordash in the first row and Iftimichuk in the second row. The third line has been completely changed, Nekulau, Bobok and Horin will be on the field. Also, Suruguiu, number 105, will be the central midfielder of Stežaril. Two more changes at center and wing level, Manumuah and Onutsu in the field.
  • The debut of Mihai Graure (20 years old) in the Stejar shirt deserves attention. He will also take part in Romania’s U20 squad at the European Championships in Prague next month. Alexandru Bukur is also ahead of his debut at the World Cup. Both are on the bench.
  • The match against Tonga will be the last in the Tejara shirt for Andre Gorin and Florin Surugui, who have announced their retirement from the national team.
