Simone Biles, 20 world titles

Biles, 26, led her team to another gold win in a dramatic final that ended with a great will-power exercise that earned her a score of 15.166 for a total of 167.729. Now she has 20 world championship titles.

The athlete, who returned to international competition after a two-year hiatus to protect her mental health, won the first of her five individual world titles at the age of 16 a decade ago, also in Antwerp.

With 33 world and Olympic medals, Biles equaled the record held by Vitaly Scherbo, who played for the Soviet Union, the United National Team and Belarus, according to News.ro.

Brazil finished second with a score of 165.530, led by 24-year-old Rebecca Andrade, becoming the first South American country to win a team medal at the Olympics or Worlds.

Team France won bronze with a score of 164.064 after excellent performances on the beam and vault, highlighted by Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos, who trains at the Biles Family Gym in Texas.
