
The Metropolitan Police Crime Scene Room, which burned down in a fire that broke out in the basement of a building in Sector 6, is under the management of the Bucharest Regional General Directorate of Public Finance and has an area of approximately 1,200 square meters. As reported by the capital police, the goods seized by the investigators were stored in a warehouse, including bicycles, scooters, laptops and white weapons.
The fire broke out on Monday evening in the basement of a five-story building on Boishoara street, not far from the Julesti maternity hospital.

According to the cited source, the warehouse is under the management of the Bucharest Regional General Directorate of Public Finance and has an area of approximately 1,200 square meters, with the Bucharest Municipality Police Headquarters paying only part of the utilities.
The Metropolitan police point out that the entire location has security guards at the entrance to the yard, as well as stationary points, one of the stationary points is located next to the warehouse.
The warehouse is provided with a video surveillance system managed by DGPMB, the same warehouse also has video surveillance provided by the regional General Directorate of Public Finance.
“Security and fire protection and protocol services are provided by the lessor of the premises, and the General Directorate of Police of Bucharest Municipality pays for these services,” the quoted source said.
