Simona Halep’s lawyer attacks Quantum Nutrition Inc: “London court rules supplement was contaminated”
In an interview for GSP, Bohdan Stojka (lawyer of the former WTA leader) denied Constantino Koveos and explained that the shareholders of the Canadian company did not even know the origin of the ingredients used for Keto MCT Schinoussa collagen.
“We sued them a month ago, but the lawsuits are ongoing because there is no mediation or anything like that, we don’t have to settle with them.
Not that we’re promoting anything, but this is clear: even the London court that heard the case decided that it was contamination from this supplement. The fact that the court said that this pollution does not explain everything, here we enter into another discussion. But the contamination from the Canadian product itself is no longer a hypothesis, it has been confirmed by the court.
I can tell you otherwise, by the way, the Canadian company will claim that their product was not contaminated. How would they know that if they had no idea where they got the ingredients from! We learned about it from China.
John Koveos (one of the company’s shareholders in Canada) gave an interview via video conference. And there he explained what he knew. He knew very little.
They don’t just produce in other factories that they don’t have. But even these factories do not import ingredients, but importers. We did the tracking. And I discovered that some of the ingredients used in this collagen come from China.
As for the drug Roxadustat, China is the first country to approve it, manufacture it, and use it widely in treatment, especially for serious kidney problems.
There are ongoing discussions about Whatsapp and other Academy tools with the distribution person of the Canadian company. Three products, including collagen, were delivered from Canada to the New York hotel where Simone was staying.
The other two products, electrolyte and protein, were not contaminated. We understand that they were manufactured at another factory” – Bohdan Stoyka for “Sportivna Gazeta”.
