American rock star Bruce Springsteen announced on Wednesday that he will postpone all of his concerts scheduled for this year in the United States until 2024 to “recover from a stomach ulcer,” AFP reported.

Springsteen, who just turned 74 and has already postponed his September concerts, “has continued to make a good recovery from a stomach ulcer in recent weeks and will continue his treatment until the end” of 2023, X (formerly Twitter) said in a statement. .

“All remaining concert dates in 2023 will be rescheduled for 2024,” the statement said.

“Thank you to all my friends and fans for their well wishes, encouragement and support,” Bruce Springsteen wrote on his X account, promising, “I’m feeling better and can’t wait to see you next year.”

New concert dates for 2024 will be announced shortly, and tickets already purchased will of course be valid or refunded, if necessary, within 30 days, the megastar said in a statement.

Since the beginning of the year, the American artist has been touring with his musicians, the E Street Band. He has already canceled his concerts scheduled for August and September, citing a “stomach ulcer”.
