And this while Renault raised the curtain on its Clio just a few stands away. Thus, war was declared between the two inhabitants of the city, despite their many differences, especially on the aesthetic level. But after a four-year career, the star of the lion brand has finally come to pamper himself with a little restyling. This has already been done since July.

Stable prices

A few months later, the future bestseller from the Socho manufacturer opens its price range. And the least we can say is that there is a surprise. Indeed, although we expected a sharp rise, prices have actually remained stable, and in some cases even fallen. Thus, the entry-level Peugeot 208 Active starts from 19,200 euros with a PureTech gasoline engine with a capacity of 75 horsepower. The 100bhp micro-hybrid version starts at €23,200, while the diesel disappears.

What allocation?

For its part, the Peugeot e-208 costs from 35,300 euros with its Electric motor with a capacity of 156 horsepower. The price is a little lower compared to the pre-styling one. The entry-level Active trim offers a fairly generous package, including manual air conditioning, a 10-inch touchscreen and even LED daytime running lights. The Allure version is much better equipped, with rear USB ports and an electric handbrake, among other things. The date of the first deliveries is still unknown.
