During the DNA hearing, Emil Savin testified that his companies were at risk of bankruptcy because CJ Vaslui, the institution headed by Buzat, blocked payments for the work done. However, Savin’s parent company, Transmir, won just under 45 tenders organized by CJ Vaslui, worth contracts worth around €40 million.
