Valentin Shiku visited Dragos Janka after the tragic moment in Petrolul – Hermannstadt

Petrolul Ploiesti and Hermannstadt played to a draw at Ilie Oane Stadium in the 10th round of the Romanian Super League.

However, football took a backseat in the 7th minute when Dragos Janku was badly injured by Valentyn Shiku.

The “Petrol” player immediately received a red card, and the “Sibiu” football player went to the hospital screaming in pain.

Dragos Jancu suffered an open fibula fracture and was operated on at a clinic in Bucharest. According to the club from Sibiu, he will be unavailable for 3-4 months.

On Tuesday, Dragoš Janka was visited in the hospital by Valentyn Shyku himself, who also sent a message after the serious injury of the Germanstadt football player.

“We are both professional players, we know each other from the stages of the national teams, and I never thought that I would find myself in such a situation or that I would cause such an injury to a colleague! I had no intention, everything happened quickly, in the tension of the match, but I feel guilty and take full responsibility for what happened.

I will be with him and, if he allows me, I will help him survive this event and return to the field as soon as possible. I once again apologize to Dragos, his family, as well as to the clubs Hermannstadt and Petrolul. – said Valentin Tsiku.
