Have you been seeing more and more American cars on the streets for a long time? Well, don’t worry, it’s completely normal. Indeed, Tesla has been on cloud nine since the launch of the Model Y, which is selling like hotcakes. This was also the case for the Model 3, which, however, is starting to fall behind other electric cars, including the MG4, which is also very popular. But Elon Musk’s company cannot afford to be defeated. Above all, success remains more than ever. Last year alone, Tesla delivered more than a million cars worldwide. And this is not the end.
This week we produced our 5 millionth car – thank you Tesla owners for your continued support!

An incredible amount
But this is not the only performance achieved by the American manufacturer. Indeed, on his account X (formerly Twitter), the latter makes a new announcement and congratulates himself on what he has created more than 5 million cars worldwide from the very beginning. A remarkable performance for a brand that was on the brink of bankruptcy a few years ago, barely saved by the arrival and success of the Model 3. Tesla thanks its customers in its message: “ This week we released our 5,000,000th car – thanks to all Tesla owners for your support!“. But the manufacturer does not intend to stop there.
Still progressing
True, the latter still has more than one trick up its sleeve and is working on the release of new models, including the more affordable Model 2. In addition, it recently unveiled the facelifted Model 3 at the Munich Motor Show, which closed on September 10. Production is particularly intense at the Shanghai and Berlin plants, which are operating at full capacity. According to the manufacturer, more than 5,000 Tesla Model Y units are produced every week in Europe.
