today, the vast majority of cars are connected from all sides and use numerous technologies of all kinds. They are equipped with a large number of means of assistance to the driver, which allows them to ensure the maximum safety of passengers, as well as other road users. But while all this has long been achieved in the automotive sector, it is not yet the case for motorcycles, which are still far behind. However, manufacturers are working on developing new technological solutions for these machines.
How can a super sports car represent a bygone era with such a futuristic design? The Countach shaped the minds of many generations, and its roaring V12 engine is still music to our ears.

New connection
This is especially true for Ducati, which has just partnered with luxury car brand Lamborghini. Since 2016, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has been part of Connected Motorcycle Consortium (CMC), a large organization that aims to implement features V2V connection on motorcycles. And the latter made it possible to develop numerous technologies that will be tested by Ducati as part of the partnership with Lamborghini. The goal? Warn drivers about the presence of motorcycles on the road and vice versa.
Multiple functions
Device “Left Turn Assist System” or LTA allows the driver to be warned of an approaching motorcyclist when he activates the indicator. Which then reduces the risk of a collision. Finally, the Do Not Pass Warning (DNPW) system warns a car that wants to overtake a long line of cars that one of them also wants to break away. At the moment, all these technologies are still in the experimental phase, but may soon see the light of day in the coming years.
