Empoli sacked head coach Paolo Zanetti and replaced him with Aurelio Andreazzoli after suffering a resounding 7-0 defeat at the hands of Roma in the last leg of Serie A.

Empoli have four defeats in the first four stages, failed to score, but instead conceded 12 goals.
In the last round, “Roma” under the leadership of Jose Mourinho defeated “Empoli” with a score of 7:0.
“Empoli Football Club announces that it has dismissed Paolo Zanetti as head coach along with his partners Alberto Bertolini, Nicola Beati and Fabio Trentino.
The club entrusted the technical bench to Aurelio Andreazzoli. The coach signed a one-year contract with the possibility of extension for another season,” the club said in a statement.
In the fifth round of Serie A, Empoli will host Inter Milan.
