The 36-year-old Nagelsmann, who was left without a commitment after being released by the Bavarian club, is set to lead the national team at the final tournament of the European Championship – EURO 2024, which will be hosted by Germany.

Sport Bild notes that Julian Nagelsmann and German Football Federation (DFB) officials have agreed to work together until EURO 2024, with only the final details of the deal remaining to be ironed out. According to the quoted source, the monthly salary for the Germany coach is around €400,000.

Hansi Flick was sacked as coach on September 10 after Germany’s poor results, with just one win in their last five matches.
