​Serena Williams wrote a cryptic message after the ITIA suspended Simona Halep for 4 years for doping, and the Romanian’s response came a few days later.

Simona Halep on Serena Williams: ‘Players who hate me do it because I beat them’

In an interview for Front Office Sports, Simona Halep answered all those who criticized her in recent days (Serena Williams, Nicole Gibbs, Eugenie Bouchard, Danielle Collins, etc.).

“I believe that everyone has the right to judge me because the court decided that it was my fault. Someone told me today that the players who hate me do it because I beat them.” Simona Halep.

Serena’s message was short and cryptic: “8 is a better number.” After the mysterious post of the American woman, all kinds of interpretations immediately appeared on social networks.
