
A 68-year-old German tourist who fell from a boat after two boats collided on Saturday in the Danube Delta in the area of Mila 23 was still being sought on Monday and the police opened a criminal case in the case.
The accident, which involved two boats with 20 tourists, occurred in Krishan commune, at the intersection of the Shontia and Olgutsa canals, after one of the drivers did not secure properly while entering the Shontia canal and hit another boat.
“In this case, the police initiated a criminal case under the article on intentional infliction of bodily harm and destruction,” IPJ Tulcea announced, according to Agerpres.
A 68-year-old foreign tourist of German origin fell out of the boat from the impact between the two boats. They have been looking for him since Saturday, and on Monday the Emergency Situations Inspectorate announced that they are still looking for him.
