
DNA prosecutors are conducting searches on Monday morning at the Bucharest Hospital Administration (ASSMB), an institution subordinate to the capital city hall, in connection with acts of bribery by management personnel, according to judicial sources.
The target would be the deputy director, who would receive approximately 80,000 euros in bribes for concluding procurement contracts.
The Administration of Hospitals and Medical Services of Bucharest is a public service organized as a public institution of local importance of the Municipality of Bucharest with a legal entity financed from the budget of the Municipality of Bucharest, established by the decision of the General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest in 2008.
The Director General of ASSMB is currently Oana Gabriela Sivach, and the Deputy Director General is Christian Pluta.
