FC Metz announced on Thursday that they have extended the contract of coach Ladislav Boloni, a 70-year-old technician.

Ladislav Boloni extended his contract with Metz until 2025

Bologna’s (and his entire staff’s) contract with Metz expires at the end of next season. The new contracts are valid until June 2025.

Ladislav Boloni took charge of Metz last summer when the team played in Ligue 2. They achieved promotion and after four rounds of the new Ligue 1 season, the team is in 13th place with 5 points.

Christophe Delmott, assistant coach, Christophe Mariches, goalkeeping coach, Florian Simon, physical coach and Sebastien Roa, assistant video coach, have also extended their contracts with Bologna’s headquarters in Metz.

Born on March 11, 1953, Ladislav Boloni has coached Nancy, the Romanian national team (2000-2001), Sporting Lisbon, Rennes, Monaco, Al Jazira, ” Standard Liège, Al-Wahda, Lance, PAOK, Al-Hor, Al-Ittihad, Antwerp, Gent, Panathinaikos, and now he is on the technical bench of Metz.

As a player, Boloni played 102 matches for the Romanian national team from 1975 to 1988. He was also a tricolor breeder in the period 2000-2001. In ten matches with him on the bench, Romania won 6, drew 1 and lost 3.
