The Romanian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that on Tuesday night it had identified “elements that could be assimilated by drone debris” near the village of Plauru, across the Danube from the Ukrainian port of Izmail, but that the MApN specialists who picked up the evidence would carry out a “technical examination”. which will allow establishing their origin, in the context of which Ukraine announced on Monday that a Russian drone fell and exploded on the territory of Romania.

  • The Minister of National Defense, Angel Tilvar, on Wednesday, September 6, visited the settlements of Cetalkioi and Chilia Veke, Tulcea District, where he discussed with the citizens and authorities of the settlements located near the attacks carried out by the Russian Federation on the infrastructure of the Danube ports of Ukraine, about the problems faced by they collide
  • In the afternoon, the minister will also visit the city of Galati.
  • The team led by the Minister of National Defense, which included the Chief of Defense Staff, General Daniel Petrescu, and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Viorel Pana, familiarized themselves with the specific situation in the visited areas and informed the local authorities that additional measures would be taken measures to strengthen monitoring capabilities and airspace security on Romania’s borders.
