
French actor Mathieu Kassowitz is in a “critical” condition after being involved in a motorcycle accident in the Paris area on Sunday, local authorities said, AFP reported.
He was taken to the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital near Paris, the prefecture of Essonne, where the accident occurred, said.
Mathieu Kassowitz, 56, was at the Linas-Monthléry racecourse when the accident happened, a police source told AFP.
The director of the film “La Haine” (1995), starred in dozens of films (“Un héros très discret” by Jacques Audiard, “Amen” by Costa-Gavras, etc.), as well as in the spy series “Le bureau” des légendes” by Eric Roshan.
