PNL Vice-President Alina Gorgiou states regarding the coalition with the PSD that the association with this party also had its drawbacks, as the liberal electorate understood the coalition less, but that “it was a rational decision” and that “it is the only decision that can keep this country in balance”.
“We assumed this ruling coalition, this rotating one, we had 4 years of a liberal prime minister and managed to raise pensions three times, we had the largest foreign investment in the economy, the largest economic growth, good things. Of course, the association with the PSD had its downsides, our electorate understood this coalition less, on the other hand, it was a rational decision. Whether we like it or not, this association is the only one that can keep this country balanced during this period,” Gorgiou said Sunday night on B1, TV, News.ro reported.
She said the question is what they will do next, and the answer is for this coalition to “guarantee” the right-wing public that it “will not allow an extremist party to come to power”.
When asked about the measures for which Marcel Çolaku wants the government to take responsibility in the parliament, although it is not known exactly what they look like, Alina Gorgiou replied: “It is important what it says and what the measures are, the liberal spirit comes because you resize an administration that is clumsy and sometimes inefficient. This is what a liberal does, he adjusts the budget apparatus so that the state’s expenses are much lower and this does not affect the private environment. This is what I expect from the accountability project, and I am convinced that there will be no problems at the level of the parliament,” Gorghiu said.
