As the summer school holidays draw to a close and a large number of motorists are expected on France’s roads for the last weekend of the summer holidays, preparations for Back to school going on all over the world.

Toyota: “Back to School” charity event.

For the second year in a row, Toyota supported the Kids In Need Foundation (KINF) for the “Big Summer Comeback,” a nationwide operation that offered Toyota customers the opportunity to donate $3 to KINF’s “Give to a Student” program during their August 2023 interview.

The program helps provide school supplies to children in underfunded elementary schools across the United States. In general, not less than 429 Toyota dealerships got together over $600,000, and 21 of those dealers donated at least $10,000. This action made it possible to reach over 24,000 students in primary school : Dealers will hand-deliver their backpacks filled with school supplies to elementary school students in their town.

Assistance to low-income schools

Employees of the Japanese manufacturer also volunteered to fill backpacks this summer supplies to schoolsduring an event at Toyota’s US headquarters in Plano, Texas.

In June 2023, the IMPACT social-innovative non-profit team organized an event during which 76 volunteers prepared 450 backpacks. In July, they were taken to the Boys and Girls Club charity in Collin County, Texas.

Also during July 17.07 Toyota employees filled in more than 300 backpacks at Community Partners of Dallas: This event was also organized by Social Innovation and Team IMPACT.
