Sandra Alexiou, president of the Bucharest-Ilfov Association of Family Doctors, says she has received a request for a certificate that the baby is healthy so that it can be baptized. “Now what should I do, recommend him to change the priest?! How deep is the gene of bureaucracy imprinted in the DNA of this country?”, she adds, News.ro reports.

“When I thought I had seen everything, I received a request for a certificate that the baby was healthy so that he could be baptized… I asked for legal support. I received information that this is a law from the Patriarchy and that I must respect the law like all other doctors, I do not crack. I also received the certificate as an example as (worldly) proof that the patriarchy law is incompatible with other laws (GDPR). “What is still needed is for the father to recommend that patients go to a family doctor who is more sympathetic to references. What should I do now, recommend him to change the priest?! How deep is the gene of bureaucracy imprinted in the DNA of this country?” added the president of the Association of Family Doctors Bucharest-Ilfov.
