The fate of the leader of the Russian paramilitary group Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin proves the futility of any peace talks with Russia, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Tuesday, according to CNN, according to News.ro.
“Prigogin was in conflict with Putin,” Kuleba said in Paris at a joint press conference with his French colleague Catherine Colonna.
“They agreed on security guarantees, and then Putin killed him. There is no reason to believe that Putin would have behaved differently in other negotiations,” he says.
And the White House on Tuesday suggested that the Kremlin was responsible for the death of the leader of the Wagner mercenary group Yevgeny Prigozhin, who died after the mysterious crash of the plane he was on.
On the other hand, the Kremlin denies any involvement in the crash of the private plane on which Prigozhin and other members of Wagner were on board, and the Kremlin’s press secretary Dmytro Peskov called any claims about the involvement of the Russian government in the crash “absolute lies.”
In Paris, Kuleba met with numerous enterprises of the French defense industry.
He discussed “specific Ukrainian-French cooperation and co-production projects,” he said in a post on social networks.
