On Tuesday, the Ministry of Education released the draft calendar of external examinations and bachelor’s exams for next year. According to them, the National Assessment will take place on June 25-28, and the first results will be announced on July 3. According to News.ro, the first bachelor’s session can take place from June 17 to July 4, and the second – from August 8 to 22.

According to project information published on the Ministry of Education’s Facebook page, the national assessment for 8th grade students will begin on June 25, 2024 with a written exam in Romanian language and literature, and in mathematics on June 27, 2024. The written ZNO in native language and literature will be held on June 28, 2024, and the first results will be announced on July 3, 2024.

For the BA, the June-July 2024 session will start on June 17-19, 2024 with the assessment of oral communication skills in Romanian – test A, followed by the assessment of oral communication skills in the mother tongue – test B, 19-21 June 19-20 to assess digital skills – test D and on June 25-27 to assess linguistic skills of an international language – test C.

Written tests will start on July 1, 2024 with the Romanian language and literature exam (Ea test), then on July 2 the mandatory profile exam (Ec), on July 3 the profile exam (Ed), on July 4 for the native language and literature exam – Eb ).

The August 2024 session will start on August 8-9 with the assessment of oral communication skills in the Romanian language – test A, the assessment of oral communication skills in the mother tongue – test B, which is provided for in the draft calendar on August 9, and on August 9, 12 – the assessment of digital skills – test D. Assessment language skills in an international language – test C will be held on August 13-14, 2024.

The written test of Romanian language and literature – Ea test) will be scheduled for August 19, the mandatory profile test – Ec) – for August 20, the profile selection and specialization test – Ed) – for August 21 and the test for Mother tongue and literature – Eb) August 22.

The Ministry of Education clarifies that ministerial projects regarding the organization and conduct of external examinations and external examinations for graduates of the VIII grade in the 2023-2024 academic year will be considered by the Social Dialogue Commission.
