Electrify France: up to 300 high-power charging points
Since 2020, Volkswagen has installed 7 charging stations in its dealerships in France to experiment with this new solution and understand the issues and the associated points of vigilance. The goal was to offer a quality offer adapted to the needs of electric vehicle users.
By the summer of 2024, it will be close 150 Electrify France charging stationsoffering a few in total 300 powerful charging points, which will see the light of day in concessions (Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, SEAT, Cupra and Škoda) of the German group in France. They will available to all electric car users, 24/7.
Charging stations with a capacity of 150 kW
Each Electrify France station will be equipped with at least one charging point with guaranteed capacity 150 kWwhile larger charging stations will have up to 12 ultra-fast charging points.
This new network will complement the main high-capacity charging networks that already exist, but will allow more charging solutions to be offered in suburban areas and poorly equipped regions. Over time, the German manufacturer plans to develop this national network, relying on 700 points of sale of Volkswagen Group France brands throughout France.
