Today, Tesla is celebrating a decade of innovation and progress in electric mobility with great fanfare. day of free charging at its Superchargers network in Europe.

Marking the tenth anniversary of the introduction of Superchargers on the continent, the event aims to recognize Tesla’s significant impact on the adoption of electric vehicles, while reiterating its strategy of combining the electric vehicle with the charging network.

Free from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Since launching its Superchargers in Europe, Tesla has charted its own course, focusing not only on developing electric vehicles that are ahead of their time, but also on developing reliable charging infrastructure with a dense network.

The Californian brand was a pioneer in giving Tesla owners the ability to travel long distances without worrying (too much) about the battery dying.

To “celebrate” this anniversary, all EV drivers, whether they own a Tesla or other EV brands, Today, August 29, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., recharging at Superchargers is free..

All you have to do is connect your electric car to the Tesla terminal and charging will start automatically. But be careful, because if you don’t have a Tesla, you will have to go to a Supercharger station open to all EVs.

Big crowd at Superchargers today? Not sure…

Unlike typical promotional offers, Tesla has chosen not to limit the number of free kWh that drivers can receive on this exclusive day. By announcing this operation at the last moment, the American company probably avoided a large gathering of people, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

The countries participating in this free top-up day are many and include several regions in Europe. From Germany to Switzerland, from Norway to Italy, many countries have the opportunity to participate in this celebration of electric mobility and enjoy free refueling.

We will remind you that on August 29, 2013, Tesla opened its first six Superchargers in Europe, more precisely in Norway. Almost ten years later, there are almost 13,000 charging terminals located at 1,000 stations in 36 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. On the Old Continent, there are 9,200 superchargers located at 660 stations.
