Aleksandra Oroyan spoiled the return of Ioan Ovidiu Sabau

“Hermannstadt” and “University of Cluj” put on a show in the penultimate match of the seventh stage of the Romanian Super League.

“Sibiyans” started strongly and opened the scoring in the 35th minute thanks to Daniel Paraskiv, who took advantage of a misdirected ball.

Before the break, the University of Cluj turned the score around and scored twice. First, Bohdan Mitrea restored the tie after Nistor’s cross (min. 45), and Daniel Popa from Janis Stoika’s pass gave the guests the advantage (min. 45+2).

The Reds were also dangerous in the second half and Daniel Popa hit the post in the 74th minute.

The dramatic strike occurred in extra time, when Oroyan equalized with a wonderful strike.

The final score is 2-2, and the two teams remain in the same ranking zone, at 9th (Hermannstadt, 8 points) and 11th (Cluj, 7 points).
