“For an eight-year-old boy who immediately fell in love with tennis. I hope I made you proud. It was 14 years of memories that I will never forget.
Winning four Grand Slams, a gold and a bronze medal at the Olympics, top 10 singles and doubles rankings, and playing on Davis Cup and Laver Cup teams was beyond my wildest dreams.
I’ve been playing at Flushing Meadows since I was 17, and this year’s US Open will be the last event of my career. I’m looking forward to making one last memory in front of the best fans in the world” – Jack Sock on Instagram.

The American shone in doubles and collected 16 trophies, three of which are Grand Slam tournaments. After winning Wimbledon in 2014 with Vasek Pospisil, Jack teamed up with Mike Bryan and had an incredible 2018 (both winning Wimbledon, the US Open and the Tournament of Champions).
Her first major trophy came in 2011 when she teamed up with Melanie Udin to win the mixed doubles at the US Open.
Jack Sock also has two Olympic medals, both won in Rio 2016: gold in mixed (with Bethany Mattek-Sands) and bronze in doubles (with Steve Johnson – they lost in the semi-finals to Florina Mergea and Horia Tekau).
The highest world singles ranking was 8th (11/20/2017), and 2nd in doubles (10/09/2018). He collected almost 12 million dollars from tennis prizes.
