It was a period when I had a lot of hope from one postponement to another. I trained intensively, I wanted to be on the court, I began to look at tennis differently and appreciated every day spent in training.

But every time the hearing was adjourned, it was as if I had received a strong blow and lost my spirit again. There were a lot of ups and downs, but I can say that I did pretty well and didn’t lose the joy of playing tennis.

I have never postponed this matter, this meeting. All the time, those who accused me delayed, I wanted to be judged as soon as possible and receive a decision,” Simona Halep explained to Eurosport.

Currently, our athlete has reached the 1140th place in the WTA ranking and has only 10 points to her credit, which she will lose after the US Open 2023, a tournament that will take place from August 28 to September 10.
