Alexandru Pelici, sacked by FC Arges – Nicolae Dike, favorite to lead the team

Relegated from the Super League at the end of last season after an impressive draw with Dynamo, Argesh FC seem unable to attack promotion this year.

After three straight draws, Saturday’s 2-0 loss to Chindia proved fatal for coach Alexandru Pelici.

“The FC Argesh club officially announces that as of today, Alexandru Pelici will no longer hold the position of head coach of our team. However, it should be noted that in the next period, Alexander Pelici will be assigned another position in the organizational structure of FC Arjesh club.

We assure our fans that we will do everything in our power to achieve our goal, that is, to return to the first stage of Romanian football at the end of this season,” the club said on its official website.

The favorite for the position of the technical bench is Nikolae Dicke from Pitesti, who was released by “Krajova 1948” a week ago.

“On Wednesday, in the Cup, and on Sunday, at “Metaloglobus”, the team will be led by Eugen Beza (no – second after Pelicci). After that, it remained to determine the exact details. So far it has been discussed, let’s see what will happen.

There are several coaches on the list, including Nicolae Dike, we will announce after the match with Metaloglobus,” Pitesti sports manager Rezvan Tunaru said, according to GSP.

For Nicolae Dike, this will be the third experience on the bench of FC Argesh after those in 2015-2017 and 2019.
