Good news for head coach Edi Iordenescu ahead of Romania’s matches against Israel and Kosovo in the Euro 2024 qualifying tournament.

Denys Alibek, who left champion Farul Konstanz ten days ago, continues his good form since the beginning of this season.

After getting 24 minutes just a day after joining Muayzer against Al Wakrah, the forward scored his first goal in Qatar on Friday.

Starting in the away game against Al Duhail, Alibek equalized for his side in the 37th minute after recovering from the legs of an opposition defender and a race at the end of which he executed goalkeeper Zakaria.

The Romanian player stayed on the field for the rest of the game, but Muaither SC suffered an emphatic 4-1 defeat.
