“I saw the news. If they are confirmed, it should not surprise anyone,” said Adrienne Watson.

TASS reports that ten people died as a result of the accident of a private plane in the Tver region of Russia, north of Moscow. There were seven passengers and three crew members on board the plane, which was flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg.

“An investigation has been launched into the Embraer plane crash that happened this evening in the Tver region. According to the list of passengers, Yevhen Prigozhin’s name is among them,” Rosaviatsia reported.

The bodies of eight people were found at the crash site of the private plane, emergency services reported, citing Ria, writes Reuters, but there is no confirmation that Prigozhin was on board the plane that crashed, although the aviation agency said he was on the passenger list.

The first widespread, but not officially confirmed, information indicates that the plane could have been shot down by Russian anti-aircraft systems.

Wagner’s Telegram channel “Grey Zone” claims that Yevgeny Prigozhin’s plane was shot down by the Russian army.

Dmytro Utkin, the founder of the Wagner group and Prigozhin’s right-hand man, was also on board the plane.
