Electric cars are on the rise these days, and if you’ve been avid reader of our columns, you most likely know that. And it is not for nothing that from 2035 all manufacturers will be prohibited from selling thermal models in Europe, with a few rare exceptions. While this is a limitation for many, it also represents a huge opportunity for some. Starting with Chinese brands as well as American firms like General Motors, who is seriously thinking about returning to our country. 100% electric, of course.
There is one exception to the end of sales of diesel cars in 2035, voted by the European Parliament: luxury cars (Ferrari, etc.). Of course, there are not many of them, so the emissions will be limited, but for the symbol and social justice will have to be ironed pic.twitter.com/6gPS9lc6ZE

High consumption
So the group will come back to us with several models, most likely including the new Hummer EV. By the way, this is a large electric pickup that is also available as an SUV. If several months have passed since the discovery of the latter, the manufacturer has not yet revealed all the information about it. But now we learn a little more, untilEnvironmental Protection Agency (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, also called EPA) has just released its consumption. And be careful because this one is especially tall. Indeed, it is displayed at 39.5 kWh per 100 kilometers.
Soon in Europe
This figure refers to the version with conventional tires and 20-module batteries. Because it is even higher for another variant equipped with all-terrain tires, which shows the consumption 41.9 kW/100 km in the combined cycle, according to the EPA certification cycle. Impressive figures, which, however, are not as high as the 43.6 kWh per 100 km of the Lordstone Endurance, another unknown electric pickup. It remains to be seen when this Hummer EV will finally arrive here…
