Will fuel prices drop once and for all? Nothing is less certain. Indeed, the overall trend is at best flat, but overall prices tend to rise. And not a little, when they were especially high for almost two years. It is about the war in Ukraine, the embargo on Russian oil or the general drop in production worldwide. Not to mention taxes, which is now 60% of the price per liter. And the government is not determined to lower them to help motorists.

Record price

In conclusion, the prices have taken over and there are now many service stations exceeds the mark of two euros, especially those located along highways. This is especially true during the school vacation period, when demand is particularly high. But some pumps show absolutely incredible prices, sometimes breaking sad records. This is exactly the case that is located on the streetHighway A11, in Saint-Sylvain d’Anjou, in the department of Maine et Loire. This BP brand is really known for its insane prices, often breaking records that we could do without.

Almost 3 euros

Indeed, on the totem placed near the entrance, we could read the price of 2.799 euros for a liter of unleaded gasoline 98. A very sad record, even if someone could pay to put this fuel in his tank. In comparison, the cheapest service station in France, located at Intermarché de Quettehou in the Manche department, demonstrated liter for 1.844 euros. Which is equivalent to a difference of 95 cents, which is just huge!
