A 19-year-old young man who drove into a group of eight touristswho killed two of them at the resort on May 2, was detained for 24 hours, News.ro reports.

He is being investigated for manslaughter, intentional bodily harm, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other intoxication.

Rapid drug tests showed he was using cocaine, amphetamine and methamphetamine. As a result of the accident, a 20-year-old woman and a 20-year-old boy died on the spot, and three more young people, two men and a woman, aged 19 and 20, were injured.
