​Sweden’s women’s soccer team won bronze at the FIFA World Cup, beating Australia 2-0 in the minor final.

The goals were scored by Fridolin Rolfo (’30) and Kosovare Aslani (’62).

Sweden won bronze at the 1991, 2011, 2019 and 2023 World Championships.

During the competition, Sweden recorded the following results: 2-1 against South Africa, 5-0 against Italy, 2-0 against Argentina (Group G), 0-0 and 5-4 on penalties against USA (Round of 16), 2 -1 against Japan (quarters), 1-2 against Spain (semi-finals) and 2-0 against Australia (small final).

Spain and England will meet in the grand final. The match will take place on Sunday, from 13:00 (Romanian time), at the Olympic Stadium in Sydney.
