The Bavarians sold Jann Sommer to Inter and had several unsuccessful attempts to sign another goalkeeper. Kepa Arrizabalaga decided to go on loan to Real Madrid, while David Raya stayed in the Premier League and signed a contract with Arsenal.

Despite this, the most successful team in Germany includes the experienced Sven Ulreich.

According to German media, Manuel Neuer had his first full individual training session this week and is likely to be back on the pitch before the winter break.

He was present at the World Cup in Qatar, where Germany crashed out in the group stage, and was involved in a skiing accident that broke his leg. Neuer underwent surgery and did not play a single minute for Bayern this year.

Manuel Neuer spent 12 seasons with Bayern and the German goalkeeper made no fewer than 488 appearances for the group at the Allianz Arena.
