The second session of the 2023 bachelor’s exam begins on Wednesday with a written exam in Romanian language and literature, and the first results, before the results, will be displayed on August 25. 33,900 candidates registered for the exam.

According to data provided by district school inspectorates, of the total enrollment, more than 22,600 candidates come from the 2023 promotion and about 11,300 candidates from previous promotions, the Ministry of Education said.

The exam begins at 9:00 a.m

Written test papers of ZNO 2023, autumn session, start at 9:00 a.m., students can access the classrooms until 8:30 a.m.

Candidates have three hours at their disposal, the time is counted from the moment the subjects are distributed in the examination hall.

Candidates will use only blue ink or paste for solving topics and black pencil only for diagrams and drawings. For the written tests in mathematics and geography, candidates may only use drawing tools. Calculators are not allowed in the written tests, and only the paper distributed in the examination hall is used.

Candidates whose request has been approved by the county commission, based on the procedure issued by the Ministry of Education to ensure equal opportunities for students with visual impairment, hearing impairment and nervous system impairment, will benefit from an extension of the allocated working time (maximum of two hours).

Rules in the examination hall

All examination rooms are equipped with functional video and audio surveillance cameras.

  • It is forbidden to carry such items as knapsacks, backpacks, bags, purses, etc. into the examination rooms. Also, students will be informed that access to classrooms with any types of works: textbooks, dictionaries, notes, notes, etc., as well as with any electronic means of calculation, information storage or communication (memory sticks, phones, tablets ) etc.).
  • At the same time, candidates are forbidden to communicate with each other or externally, to transfer or exchange papers, drafts, notes or other materials that can be used to solve topics, for internal or external communication.
  • Individuals caught in these situations will be suspended from the examination, regardless of whether or not the prohibited materials/items were used, whether they were presented by themselves or by other candidates, faculty from the committee or others, and regardless of whether they have received or transmitted prohibited material. As a result, these candidates are no longer eligible to participate in the next two sessions.

Undergraduate calendar 2023, autumn session

The written tests for BAC 2023, autumn session, will be held in 137 examination centers according to the following calendar:

  • August 16: Romanian language and literature – exam Ea)
  • August 17: mandatory profile testing – Ec test)
  • August 18: ZNO on choosing a profile and specialization – Ed test)
  • August 21: Native language and literature – test Eb).
  • Skills assessment tests (linguistic and digital) were graded/recognised between August 7 and 11.

When will BAC 2023 second session results be displayed

The display of the first results in an anonymous format, in accordance with current regulations, will take place on August 25 (until 12:00).

Complaints can be submitted on the same day, between 12:00 and 18:00, both in physical/written form and electronically. In this sense, candidates complete, sign and submit/submit electronically, including a sample declaration stating that they are aware that the grade awarded as a result of the appeal is final and subject to change as the case may be, initial mark, by increasing or decreasing.

The final results, after the resolution of the appeals (August 26-28), will be announced on August 29.

Candidates’ papers will be scanned in the examination hall and corrected digitally

The minimum passing grade – for each test – is 5 (five), and the final average score required to pass the exam is at least 6 (six).

Starting from this session of the bachelor’s exam, the Ministry of Education is generalizing the digital evaluation of candidates’ works, while the institution notes that this does not involve changes in the criteria/grading scales and types of subjects for the written tests of the exam. .

Scanners distributed and installed in each examination center are used for digitized assessment. Papers are scanned in the examination room at the end of the written examination in the presence of the candidate and uploaded to the evaluation platform by assistant professors.

The confidentiality of the work is done automatically, at the time of upload, candidates/associates no longer need to do it.

The documents are then automatically and randomly distributed through the platform between two assessors located in a district different from the district from which the candidates come.

In June – July 2022 and June – July 2023, in the sessions of the national bachelor’s exam, respectively, the national assessment for graduates of class VIII, the digital assessment of written works was piloted for candidates from the counties of Kalaras and Dymbovica.

TELVERDE for reporting any issues

The Ministry of Education has announced that on the days scheduled for the written tests, it is giving everyone access to the TELVERDE line 0800801100 to report any malfunctions.

The number will be available from August 16 to 21 as follows:

  • August 16, 17 and 21: from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • August 18: from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
