Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia will sign a contract with “Chelsea” – the Londoners will spend more than 165 million pounds

Mauricio Pochettino wants a competitive team at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea are currently the most active team in the transfer market.

This summer, the Londoners have already attracted 6 players and are preparing a sensational double.

In particular, Todd Boley’s side have reached an agreement with Brighton for the permanent transfer of Moises Caicedo, a player who was originally due to join Liverpool.

Caicedo, 21, refused to sign for Jurgen Klopp and underwent a medical at Chelsea on Monday.

He has signed a contract until the summer of 2031, with an option to extend for another season, and in return, Brighton will receive a sum of £115 million. Thus, Moises Caicedo will become the most expensive player in the history of the Premier League.

Moreover, Pochettino’s team did not stop there, and on Monday an agreement was reached with Southampton to bring in Romeo Lavia, another player wanted by Liverpool.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano writes that Chelsea will pay more than 50 million pounds for the Belgian, who is only 19 years old.

The source says the Londoners want to make the move official this week.
