
A woman died on Monday after being hit by a tram in Arad. The woman managed to put her 12-year-old disabled daughter’s stroller in the tram, but she herself could not get on, as the driver closed the door without checking, writes Aradon.
A 55-year-old woman accompanied by her 12-year-old daughter, who was in a wheelchair, wanted to take the streetcar to the UTA station. He managed to lift the stroller through the back door first, after which it allegedly followed. But Whatman closed the door of the tram without taking any precautions and drove off.
The woman was left holding the cart and was pulled by the tram, and the conductor stopped only after the passengers sounded the alarm, writes Aradon. All travelers called 112.
The director of the Arad Public Transport Company clarified for Jurnal Arădean/Aradon that the woman did not fall under the tram, but was dragged by the tram. Despite the efforts of doctors to save her life, the woman died a few hours after being admitted to the reception department of the district hospital.
