World number three Pegula needed just 49 minutes to defeat the Russian 6-1, 6-0.
Both players held serve at first, but then Jessica won 11 games in a row.

- Pegula also eliminated Yulia Putintseva (79 WTA), Jasmine Paolini (43 WTA), Coco Gauff (7 WTA) and Iga Sviatek (1 WTA) in Montreal.
- This is the third title in the track record of the American Pegula after those held in Washington (2019) and Guadalajara (2022). She lost four more finals.
- Thanks to the triumph in Canada, Jessica Pegula scored 6030 points in the WTA ranking. Only Iha Svyatek (9730) and Arina Sabalenko (8746) are ahead of her.
- On the other hand, Lyudmila Samsonova is ranked 12th in the WTA ranking, which is the best ranking in her career.
“Omnium Banque Nationale” took place this year in Montreal from August 7 to 13. The WTA 1000 tournament offered $2,788,468 in prize money. The previous champion is Simona Halep (2022).
