According to the source, the disappearance of children from Vorona commune was reported on the night from Saturday to Sunday, around 01:30.

“Dozens of law enforcement officers have been sent to the Vorona commune to establish the location and identify the minors. Search groups were created, this time involved, along with the police, a search and rescue dog in the natural environment, as well as firefighters, gendarmes, representatives of forestry, border police with thermal imaging equipment, and volunteers,” Nenishku said.

A representative of the IPJ says that the girl communicated through her phone that she was abducted, sending false information to the rescue teams about her location and about the danger.

“The minor had a phone with him, which he used to communicate with the police, misleading them about his location and the dangerous situation he was in. He told the police that she had been abducted from the street and that her life was in danger, which turned out to be untrue. In a few hours, the 12-year-old minor was found approximately six kilometers from the house, in a forest area. She was alone. Later, after six hours of searching, a 13-year-old minor was also found more than seven kilometers from the house,” the police representative added.

The IPJ states that the minors have not been victims of any crime while they were away from home.

The police continue to investigate to establish the circumstances under which the minors left the home, and the Main Department of Social Assistance and Child Protection will be informed to analyze the behavior of the minors. (Agerpress)
