Promoted to the Super League this summer, Ocellul Galats are yet to pick up their first win of the new season after a 1-1 draw with Cluj University in the fifth round.

If at the previous stage he led and equalized Sepsi’s score in the 84th minute, then Ocelul experienced the same disappointment again.

Dorinel Munteanu’s men scored before the break through Jardan in the 43rd minute, but the goal was disallowed by VAR for a foul.

In the second half, the Galatians pressed on, and Alexander Pop’s 59th-minute breakthrough seemed to pave the way for a first victory.

But in the 88th minute, goalkeeper Relu Stoyan fouled Teskan in the penalty area, and in the 90th minute, Dan Nistor scored from the penalty spot.

After this draw, Ocellul is in 13th place with just four points, while Cluj University is in 9th place with six points.
