iNES GROUP launches new online television platform iNES Live, accessible via local internet connection. In this way, the company is expanding its premium TV service through the application to the whole of Romania. The iNES Live service is commercially available on the dedicated website www.ineslive.ro from August 9, 2023.

What is iNES Live?

iNES Live is a service developed by iNES GROUP for the linear distribution of television programs at the national level through subscribers’ own Internet connections using OTT (Over The Top) technology. The TV service is available both via local cable network and Wi-Fi, and is available to private customers, individuals residing in Romania.

From a technology perspective, iNES Live is a multi-platform, multi-screen service that can be accessed through the same app – iNES Smart – that was already launched for iNES customers in 2021. This app can be downloaded from Smart app stores for select devices. A type of TV, media player or smart monitor with Google TV, Android TV (SonyTM, PhilipsTM, etc.), Tizen (Samsung™) and WebOS (LG Electronics™) operating systems.

What does iNES live offer?

iNES Live offers more flexibility and the ability to customize your TV viewing experience. Subscribers can now enjoy Network TV along with all their other favorite programs, instantly available with just the device’s remote control, without a set-top box (STB) and without unsightly cables, including over a local Wi-Fi connection.

The iNES Live service focuses on content with a network of more than 100 channels from all fields and original programs that add value to the market proposition. The service also offers smart viewing features, such as the organization of TV channels by thematic categories, for easy and quick navigation, typical of TV services from iNES and unique in the national market.

iNES Live stands out for its image quality, the largest number of HD (more than 90) and 4K channels provided in the television service through the program in Romania, and high-quality Dolby sound. In addition, users can also watch certain channels with the new multi-language audio system, which allows playback of programs in Romanian, English and Hungarian.

Thus, subscribers from all over the country can now discover the comfort of premium services from iNES, emphasizing the technical advantages of their own devices.

How do I access iNES Live?

Accessing iNES Live is quick and easy by creating a customer account and purchasing a monthly subscription online. The service is available in the form of three packages – iNES Live Basic (€5/month, VAT included), iNES Live Plus (€11/month, VAT included), iNES Live Premium (€16/month, VAT included) – for a maximum of 3 devices for one location. The subscription fee is automatic and repeats every 30 days without any additional action. Depending on the selected package, subscribers can also choose additional options of TV channel packages or additional devices. Users can manage their service from their iNES Live account, changing their subscription type or adding various additional features at any time.

How do we watch TV channels with iNES Live?

You can start watching TV immediately after purchasing a monthly subscription. Subscribers download the iNES Smart app from their device’s app store and enter the username and password they chose when they created their account. Grid TV can be quickly accessed from a short list of favorite programs with a single remote control.
