Carlos Alcaraz on his first victory since winning the trophy at Wimbledon

The Spaniard defeated Belgium’s David Goffen in a super tiebreak with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 10-8 in the match for the Hopman Cup.

Goffen started the first set very well and managed to win it despite the difference of 110 places in the ranking between them.

And the beginning of the second set was managed by the Belgian, who at the end could not maintain the former rhythm, and Alcaraz evened the situation.

The super tiebreak opened 4-0 for Goffen, the Spaniard came back with four points in a row and took full advantage of his opponent’s mistakes to secure victory.
