A few months ago, Electra announced a summer 2023 opening 7 new ultra-fast charging stations on the motorway network managed by Vinci Autoroutes: after only 4 months of operation, these new stations were commissioned a few days ago at the end of June 2023.

Electra: 114 new fast charging points

Electric vehicle users now have access to 114 new powerful charging points at Electra stations located in the 7 service areas of the Vinci Autoroutes in the south of France.

We calculate in detail 16 charging points on each of the two areas of Carcassonne Arzens (North and South), onHighway A61 in Carcassonne, 28 charging points on Latitude 45 square, on the streetAutostrada A7north of Valence towards Lyons, and also 24 charging points on Garonne square, two-way zone, located on the streetHighway A62 between Agen and Toulouse.

Electra is also put into operation 12 charging points on Manzat Square, a square with two-way traffic, located on StA89 highway between Clermont-Ferrand and Bordeaux, 8 charging points at the recreation area of ​​Gignac Rebuty, on the streetA55 highwaybetween Marseilles and the Etang de Berre, but also 10 charging points at the Vitrol recreation ground, at the entrance to StAutostrada A7 from Marseille

Electra: state-of-the-art charging stations

These new charging stations are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and feature universal charging stations with three connectors (Combo CCS, Type 2 and CHAdeMO) to accommodate most EVs on the market. You can pay by credit card, as well as with the main payment badges that are now common in Europe.

In addition, these new fast charging stations are designed for limit their impact on the environment : Electra installed canopies equipped with photovoltaic panels, the electricity production of which is re-introduced into the production circuits, the sites are covered with drainage pavers so as not to interfere with the waterproofing of the soil, a carbon balance is carried out for each of the sites carried out, and trees have been planted to offset CO2 emissions, associated with the deployment of these stations.
