Rapid’s coach pointed out what his team lacks

Just four days after taking charge of the team following the departure of Adrian Mutu, Italian Cristiano Bergodi was happy with the debutants, but not with the result.

The technician hopes to receive reinforcements and also have time to complete physical training.

“In the second half I fell! This was clearly evident after a very good first half, with chances that were unfortunately not converted. I’m not happy with the result, but I can’t blame the guys.

Of course, we still need preparation, it was clear that we lacked strength and clarity in the second half. But I really liked the first half, so I want to play here.

We need a striker, but not because Marco missed out today. We need to improve the situation, it is normal for the start of the championship. I think we could win against a good team today.

It’s a lot of work, nothing is done overnight. I think the fans want to see a team that attacks, has a chance. I missed a lot today, but I’m happy with my guys.

We have to do something (no – in the transfer market), but the leaders know what they have to do. We need something, it’s normal, you see it” – told Cristiano Bergodifor DigiSport.
