Romania’s national women’s handball team under 19 years passed the semifinals of the European Championship held in Pitesti and Mioveni on Wednesday.

The tricolor team defeated Switzerland in the quarterfinals with a score of 41-36 (21-20) and will play Hungary in the penultimate act.

Hungary and Denmark advanced from Group II to the semi-finals.
